Meet Dr. Dwight Eckard

I would like to be known simply as a good husband and father, and a solid guy. I do my best to go the extra mile for my patients so they can receive the most beneficial care. My team and I take pride in delivering painless dentistry with respect, and have a true desire to get to know our patients. To put it simply, we’ll treat you right!

Education and Continuing Education

  • Bachelor of Science with honors in biological sciences – University of California, Irvine, 1977
  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Southern California, 1981

I actively pursue continuing education opportunities on a broad variety of subjects, including endodontics, implant restoration and placement, digital technology, and current restorative materials. Dentistry is advancing at a rapid pace. I believe in and am committed to providing the best for my patients, and that can only happen if I stay informed and up to date. I believe that emerging technology can improve and enhance the care of my patients.

 Family and Community

I am a native Southern Californian and am fortunate to have lived in Temecula since 1992. My wife and I have been married more than 30 years and have four terrific children. At home now are two mischievous Labradors. Several hobbies occupy my spare time, including woodworking, archery, the standard DIY weekend chores, and when I can get away, fly fishing. Oh, did I mention I like Sno-Cones!! (Yes, I have my own machine.)

As individuals, I believe each of us needs to be a positive contributor to the greater community, both for our own benefit and that of others. The Temecula Valley is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Over the years, I’ve been involved with the Boy Scouts, and various school and church activities. I’ve volunteered with the local dental society to do school screenings, and I’ve donated my services to underserved children in our community.
